ALTA ENDORSEMENTS - 76 - SAMPLES AND DESCRIPTIONS ASSIGNMENT – FORM 10 ALTA Endorsement — Form 10 is available only for loan policies. It insures the effectiveness of a post-policy assignment of the Insured Mortgage. It does not, however, cover matters recorded after the effective date of the original policy, except to insure that no release or reconveyance has been placed of record. If such a release or reconveyance has been recorded, it will be identified in the endorsement. The coverage provided by this endorsement is conditioned upon the proper endorsement and delivery of the underlying notes. Further, this endorsement does not extend the Date of Policy, that is, the endorsement does not bring forward any coverages of the policy or any endorsements that are a part of the policy.
